The chaise-longue

Photobucket

When I think about a chaise-longue, the first thing that comes to mind is Madame Recamier (David 1748-1925) reclined on her XIX century chaise looking at us intently, as if saying “On est cool et comfortable, non?”

Well, now is your chance to relax on this XIX century updated version of a chaise-longue, upholstered in one-of-a-kind silk velour, painted by Rodrigo Palacios, exclusively with color water-based dyestuffs and colorfast to fit this piece that, no doubt, would make Madame Recamier exclaim:

“Ooh-la-la. VoilĂ  une chaise-longue!”
